South African West Coast tour information:
Visit
the west coast Ostrich farm, experience a tribal village and after visiting
the old Moravian Mission station of Mamre, we land up in the aptly named
town of Darling, a quaint and very beautiful town, especially during the
annual flower season which occurs every September. Also home to South
Africa's famous satirist Pieter Dirk Uys and his famous Evita Se Perron
restaurant.
Travelling along the coast we visit Yzerfontein,
a little seaside village on the West Coast and the West Coast
National Park and Postberg Nature Reserve in flower season. It is only during the months of August and September that the ecologically sensitive
Postberg area is opened to the public so that we may enjoy the flowers
to the fullest.

Although the West Coast National Park is famous for its spring wild flower displays, it is, in addition to the flowers, also home to many animal species including
Bontebok, Eland (the largest antelope) and Wildebeest (Gnu).
The village
of Langebaan is visited, Club Mykonos with it's casino and nearby Saldanha Bay.
The return
to Cape Town is via Bloubergstrand, with the majesty of Table Mountain
welcoming us back to the mother city.
